"It’s a question nearly every high schooler faces: What do you want to do with your life? Jonathan Madison still remembers the first time he was asked. The topic came up during class, and he didn’t have a great response. That was his “aha” moment." Read the full story

"Coming into college, I knew I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and get to know people who weren’t from the same town as me. I love the sense of community we have built and seeing how our program continues to grow. In my second year as a scholar, I became a mentor for the incoming freshman. Being a mentor allowed me to get to know more people and build relationships with new scholars. I would say that being a mentor was the best thing I’ve experienced from the Kearney Bound Program because not only was I able to grow bonds with my mentees, but I was also inspired to pursue a career in School Psychology."
